Best Buy is selling Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Plus for $39.99, $30 below its stated $69.99 original price. The offer also includes one month of Xbox Game Pass, listed at $22.99; the promotion’s end date and eligibility details are not provided.
Best Buy is offering Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Plus for $39.99, down from a stated original price of $69.99, and the deal includes one month of Xbox Game Pass, valued in the source at $22.99. The streaming device connects to a television’s HDMI port, bringing apps and streaming features to compatible TVs without built-in smart-TV functions.
The $30 discount is described as a 43% saving off the $69.99 price. The source says the included Game Pass month is valued at $22.99, but does not explain which Game Pass plan is included, how the trial or subscription is redeemed, or whether new subscribers only can use it. The stated value is separate from the $39.99 price paid for the stick.
The 4K Plus is described as a model Amazon released in 2025. Its listed features include Wi-Fi 6, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos support, a quad-core 1.7GHz processor and an Alexa Voice Remote. The source presents the processor and Wi-Fi support as features intended to support responsive navigation and 4K streaming, though performance depends on a user’s network, services and other equipment.
Fire TV provides access to streaming apps including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and Max, subject to the subscriptions and availability in a viewer’s region. The report also names free, ad-supported services such as Tubi, Pluto TV and Fire TV Channels. Xbox cloud gaming is described as requiring Game Pass Ultimate and a compatible controller; the deal’s included month should not be assumed to cover those requirements unless its terms say so.
A Lower-Cost Route to 4K Streaming
For people with an older television that has an HDMI port, a streaming stick can add access to smart-TV apps without replacing the screen. At $39.99, this offer puts the device below its stated $69.99 original price, although buyers should compare it with other streaming devices and sale prices before deciding whether it fits their needs.
The bundled Game Pass month may add value for customers who already use Microsoft’s service or want to try cloud gaming, but it is not equivalent to cash off the device. Its usefulness depends on the offer’s redemption conditions, the plan provided and whether the customer can meet any service or hardware requirements. The source does not establish that every buyer will be able to use the full stated value.
Picture and sound features also depend on the rest of the setup. A viewer needs a compatible 4K television and appropriate content to benefit from 4K formats, while Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos require compatible displays, content and audio equipment. The stick can add streaming functions; it cannot upgrade a TV’s underlying panel or guarantee a particular stream quality.

What the Fire TV Stick Offers
The source describes this model as Amazon’s next-generation 4K streaming stick, released in 2025. It connects through HDMI and uses the Fire TV interface, with Alexa voice search and a remote that can control TV power and volume on compatible equipment. Alexa can also operate compatible smart-home devices, according to the report.
Fire TV’s search can look across supported services, while available apps and titles vary by subscription, location and licensing. The report says free ad-supported apps provide access to films and episodes, but does not independently verify the size of their catalogues. It also describes Xbox cloud gaming as an option with Game Pass Ultimate and a controller, not as a feature unlocked automatically by owning the streaming stick.
““Offering Wi-Fi 6, Dolby Vision and a bundled month of Xbox Game Pass, the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus is now just $39.99, a 43% saving.””

Deal Terms Still Need Checking
The source does not state when the offer ends, whether it is available in every Best Buy market, or whether stock is limited. It also does not specify whether the $69.99 reference price is a manufacturer’s suggested retail price, a prior Best Buy price or another comparison price.
The Game Pass bundle’s exact plan, activation process, eligibility rules and renewal terms are not given. Buyers should check the offer page and the service terms before purchase, particularly if they already subscribe. The source also does not establish that the advertised $22.99 value can be applied as a refund or used by every customer.
Compatibility is another practical limit: the stick needs a usable HDMI port and a reliable internet connection. The report does not provide details on regional app availability, network performance or the quality a particular television and home setup will deliver.
Check the Live Offer Before Buying
Readers interested in the deal should check Best Buy’s current listing for price, stock and expiration details, then review the Game Pass terms before ordering. The source gives no announced end date, so availability may change without notice; the reported $39.99 price should not be treated as guaranteed beyond the listing’s current status.
Before purchasing, buyers can confirm that their TV has an available HDMI port and supports the picture or sound formats they want to use. They should also check whether their internet connection, streaming subscriptions and any desired gaming accessories meet the requirements. No further promotion details or follow-up announcement are provided in the source material.
